Are their any requirements for vaccinations prior to boarding my pet? |
Wilderness Kennels requires all pets to be current on their vaccinations, not only for their protection but for other boarders as well.
|
What happens if my pet becomes ill during the time he is boarded? |
When your pet is brought to the kennel to be "checked in," Wilderness Kennels requests certain information regarding your pet; including whom to contact in case of an emergency and what veterinarian is to be called if needed.
|
Will my dog get fleas or ticks while being boarded? |
The facilities at Wilderness Kennels have been constructed to discourage the infestation of fleas and ticks. All pets are checked periodically and any pets infested by parasites are bathed and dipped by the groomer.
|
What if my dog or cat needs medication? |
For a small fee in addition to the regular boarding fee, all medications will be given as directed.
|
Are the dogs exercised? |
Each pet has ample room in his own kennel to run and play. For a small additional fee, your pet can receive personal exercise outside the runway. Ask about out "playtime service."
